FAQs

Do you take insurance?

We accept Cigna and Optum, which includes United Healthcare, Oxford, and Oscar. We also accept out-of-network clients as well (i.e. out-of-pocket). More information on fees and services can be found here.

Do I have to come in-person?

For initial appointments, in-person evaluation is required for comprehensive, safe assessment. Telehealth appointments are available after initial evaluation. When medication is prescribed that requires any labs, special tests or monitoring, in-person appointments may periodically be required.

What if I need to call you in between appointments?

Office hours are Monday through Thursday, from 8am until 5pm, and messages will be answered within 48 business hours during this time frame. All communication with provider should take place for established patients via the HIPAA-compliant, secure patient portal here, and are reserved for refill requests and non-emergencies.

If Dambrino Wellness determines client communication warrants a more comprehensive follow-up, an appointment will be scheduled for assessment and medication changes, if necessary. What is your cancellation policy?

We require that you notify the practice of a need to cancel or reschedule within 48 business hours of your scheduled appointment time. Any cancellations occurring outside of this time frame will result in a cancellation fee equivalent of the out-of-pocket cost of the appointment.
